He Gave Up His Dog Because She Loved Him

 

The shelter was deluged with calls from people who wanted to adopt Jubilee! But just one person, Samantha Fewox, turned out to be the rescuer Jubilee was waiting for. She and her teen age son were thrilled to be on the receiving end of Jubilee’s affection!

The very next day, Jubilee came home with Fewox and discovered that she had another rescue dog as a playmate.  She found she had people who welcomed her affection, Samantha and her teenage son. She follows them around just like the little velcro pup she wants to be.

“It touched me. She loved so much,” she told Huffington Post. “I knew I was supposed to have her.” While many will see Jubilee’s former owner as simply shunning her affection, Fewox says she couldn’t be happier. “I am so thankful he made the decision to do that or we would not have this sweet little dog in our life.”

She’s even got a fellow rescued sister to play with—what could be better? “I think it was meant to be,” Fewox said, and even Jubilee would have a tough time disagreeing.

Fewox realizes that Jubilee will need help overcoming the anxiety that led to destructive behavior. But she is more than willing to do whatever it takes. She has arranged to hire a trainer to help Jubilee feel safe and secure again.
