Military Working Dog Retires From Service After Saving a Thousand Lives

Dexter was 10 years old in 2009 when he returned from 6 years as an explosive detection K9 in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Let’s also remember to honor our Canine Veterans who served bravely and honorably along side their human partners. Many American soldiers are with us today thanks to the courage of a  war dog.
