George Clooney Rescues Senior Dog and Gives Him a Second Chance at a Good Life

When George Clooney met Einstein for the first time the spunky Cocker Spaniel was busy stealing food from his foster mom’s kitchen! The actor felt an immediate connection to the elderly dog and adopted him.

Now he lives in luxury and begs treats from movie stars!

“Einstein has grown to love Italian food,” Clooney said. “Age doesn’t matter.”

Einstein was a homeless stray dog. He wound up in a California animal shelter and was in very poor condition at first.  He had a thyroid problem, was overweight with a poor coat and dry eyes.  He was in a crowded run with other dogs that bullied and frightened him. A rescue organization got him into a foster home where his health and strength were restored.

Celebrities like George Clooney set an example for all of us when they choose dogs that are often passed over for adoption because of their age.

When you save a senior dog, you are showered with many unexpected rewards.  Older dog know, in their wisdom of years, that you have saved them.  They return the favor with their gratitude, loyalty and unconditional love.
