Scared Pit Bull Rescued From Waste Recycling Plant

His rescuers named him Thor, and even though he put up a brave front, this frightened Pit Bull was so grateful to be finally saved.

He was living at a recycling facility, climbing precariously over piles of metal and other debris.  Bulldozers had to clear a path so that the dog could be reached, but still he eluded rescue efforts for two days. When he is finally leashed and taken to safety, the utter relief in his expression is a powerful reminder of the critical importance of rescue work like this.
